I am so excited because the week of 23-29 of April is the National Volunteer Appreciation Week. First, let me start by thanking all the volunteers for their time and everything they do to serve their communities. You guys make this world better with the unpaid service you all provide. To celebrate the volunteer week I am going to volunteer at a few events. How will you celebrate your volunteer week? I am going to volunteer at the March of Dimes on Saturday 29th, you should too! It is an event that’s all over the US, contact March of Dimes office in your city to volunteer. They need help with registration, greeting, set up and so many more. March of Dimes helps to end premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. I, myself, was a preemie born at 7 months and I wish my family had a program like March of Dimes that would have help them out when I was born. This is why I’m volunteering. For me and all the preemies. Premature babies can have a healthy life and can be successful; we just need more programs to reach out to the families to make this new challenge easy.
