One's ability to succeed is to perseve. Last year I made top 11 at nationals but I won't stop there. I believe in trying. I decided to return to Miss International because of what it stands for. This pageant system does not only encourage young women to be a voice in their communities and fight for a cause but it also has the same Christianity value as I do. Before we began orientation , the first thing Mary, our director, asked us to do was pray and before our interview she prayed with us. Right after she began to pray, I knew this system was made for me. That helped me with my stress and brought me so much confidence knowing that we invited God to take control over everything and to guide us during our interviews. Everything went smooth. During my week , I met some amazing sister queens who are passionate about their platforms. Through this pageant system I was able to promote my platform nationally and internationally. I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with different organizations such as Go Red For Women, Dosomething.Org, United Way, and so many more. Last but not least , I chose to return to Miss International to continue promoting volunteerism in the youth communities. Don't ever stop fighting for your dreams.
